Abstract
This paper analyzes the fundamental and influential role of data governance and data quality in value creation for data-driven business models in the digital age. The industry, faced with the wave of digital transformation, encounters new challenges in data quality and management—challenges that increasingly highlight the importance of accurate and transparent data. In a world where the use of big data and artificial intelligence technologies is rapidly growing, data governance and data quality have become key pillars in improving performance and generating value. This study, through a review of existing research in the field, demonstrates that organizations with strong governance frameworks and high-quality data are better equipped to extract value from their data.

Furthermore, it reveals that the absence of robust data governance standards and weaknesses in data quality can lead to reduced accuracy in data-driven analyses and the failure of business models. The findings indicate that integrating standardized frameworks for data utilization with artificial intelligence, alongside effective governance standards, enhances efficiency, fosters innovation, and drives economic growth. Moreover, this integration is essential for success in the competitive digital landscape. This paper provides business managers and researchers with insights to develop more effective strategies for leveraging data and enhancing value creation.
